Notice is given that a Special General Meeting of the Hellenic Australian Lawyers Association Inc. (A0060409N) (Association) will be held at the Law Institute of Victoria, Level 2, 470 Bourke Street, Melbourne, Victoria on 19 April 2017 at 6.00 pm (AEST).
If members eligible to vote are unable to attend the meeting, they may appoint a proxy to attend and vote on their behalf.
A proxy form is included in the Notice of Annual General Meeting.
If you are entitled to attend and vote by proxy, proxy forms must be given to the Chairperson before or at the commencement of the meeting, or if sent to the Association, must be received no later than 6.00 pm (AEDST) on 18 April 2017 at the registered office of the Association, Level 6, 140 William Street, Melbourne Victoria 3000 or at secretary@hal.asn.au.
The right of a member to vote who has not paid the annual subscription fee by the due date is suspended until the subscription is paid.
A member is entitled to vote if he or she is a member other than an associate member, more than 10 business days have passed since he or she became a member, and the member’s membership rights are not suspended for any reason.
We encourage all eligible members to attend in person or participate by proxy in the special general meeting of the Association.
