The inaugural NSW Chapter Oration will be delivered by The Hon Justice Stephen Gageler AC, High Court of Australia.
His Honour will deliver the Oration titled “Truth and Justice and Sheep”, on Monday 20 August 2018, from 6 to 7pm at the Federal Law Courts Building, 184 Phillip St, Sydney.
Following is an abstract from His Honour’s paper:
The large and quite serious topic to be explored in this oration is the concept of truth within our common law system and the relationship between that concept of truth and the concept of justice according to the rule of law.
