TAS: HAL Chapter launched in November 2015

HAL launched a chapter in Tasmania at the Supreme Court of Tasmania, Salamanca Place, Hobart on Friday 27 November 2015.

Chief Justice Blow OAM, the Tasmanian Patron of HAL, launched the Tasmanian Chapter. Distinguished guests from Tasmania and interstate  attended, including interstate Patrons Chief Justice Kourakis and Justice  Kyrou.

NT launches HAL Chapter – 9 October 2015

HAL held its first event in the NT as part of HAL’s commitment to a national vision for the Association and developing a vibrant nationwide membership.

Chief Justice Riley is the Northern Territory Patron of HAL.

SA: The Inaugural John Perry Oration – 25 September 2015

The South Australian Chapter of HAL presented the Inaugural John Perry Oration in Adelaide in the presence of HAL’s National Patron, The Hon. Chief Justice Chris Kourakis, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia.

It was held on 25 September, 2015 at Electra House in Adelaide.

The Hon. Justice Dr Melissa A Perry QC, Justice of the Federal Court of Australia, delivered the oration, entitled “A life well lived”.
